North Yorkshire Moors

On Saturday I joined the hill walking club for the second time. The coach took us south to the North Yorkshire moors, dropping us off near to Rosebury Topping. After climbing the odd shaped topping hill we walked to Captain Cook's monument. On our way we met lots of frozen puddles that we could skate on and smash, and were lucky enough to have clear blue skies all day long. In total we walked 20km, the coach was the most welcome sight for my aching limbs.
